Capturing Territories
Ether Castle is the most coveted region in Territory Wars. Capture it to gain access to exclusive mounts and pets!
To control Ether Castle, your alliance must:
First, speak to the Local Agent of the region your alliance controls to obtain a Proof of Dominance. Then, register with the Ether Castle Agent in Pokari City.
Registration Schedule:
The battle for Ether Castle begins at 18:00. If your alliance defeats the defending team, you will take control of Ether Castle, and the alliance sign above your characters’ heads will flash in different colors!
Important Details
1. After dominating Gaap Lands, Gallio Kingdom, or Ziminian Domain for over 48 hours, the leader of the dominating alliance can obtain a Proof of Dominance from the current Local Agent.
2. Once you have the Proof of Dominance, register at the Ether Castle Agent to bid for a queue spot.
3. After a challenging alliance has been selected, the Ether Castle Territory War will take place on Saturday from 18:00 to 21:00.
Between 18:00 and 19:00, the alliance leader will receive a system message upon logging in to activate the Territory War.
If the Alliance Leader chooses to start the war, all alliance members will be teleported to the battlefield. Players can also choose to enter the battlefield via the Ether Castle Agent.
The current dominator of Ether Castle will also receive a teleportation message.
If the challenging alliance leader does not activate the war between 18:00 and 19:00, the war will automatically start at 19:00.
The dominating alliance leader of Ether Castle will receive 50 tradable EC Friendly Passes between 00:00 and 17:00 on Saturday. Neutral players can use the EC Friendly Pass to join the battlefield as mercenaries for the defending side.
Neutral players can also join as mercenaries for the attacking side. All neutral players in the battlefield will have a "Mercenary" prefix before their names.
4. The battlefield is Ether Castle. Each side has its own starting point, and the objective is to defeat the protector of the opposing side.
The defending side must also keep control of at least one normal territory.
If the defending side defeats the attacking side but loses all their normal territories, Ether Castle will become unoccupied.
When Ether Castle is not in war time, even if the dominating alliance loses all normal territories, they will still maintain control over Ether Castle.
If the dominating alliance changes its leader or is dismissed, they will lose dominance over Ether Castle.
The defeated side can only participate in the next Ether Castle war as mercenaries and may only start another Territory War in the week after that.
5. During peacetime, the dominating alliance can prepare for the next war.
The defending alliance can deploy up to 50 Heaven Arrow Towers to help defend the castle. Use the Ancient Engineer Shovel, obtained from the Ethermaid of Cloud, at construction spots to build them.
The defending alliance can also build 4 resource structures in their garden. These structures will automatically boost vital resources for war upgrades.
All structures can be destroyed during war, and attacking soldiers can obtain items or money from the debris.
After the war ends, if a new dominator takes control, all structures will be removed. If the defending side wins, all structures will be preserved.
6. Ether Castle Map
Attacking Side (Challenging Alliance + Mercenaries) will start from Platform of Unicorn.
Defending Side (Current Dominating Alliance + Mercenaries) will start from Garden of Wonders.
There is a resource area at each starting point with a storage capacity of 5,000 units.
There is another resource point near each side, with a storage of 10,000 units. It is vital for gathering resources.
Resources can only be gathered after taking the quest from your NPC, either the Grongon Banner or Zaax Banner. After collection, give the resources back to the NPCs. Additionally, both NPCs will sell powerful items.
There are also Etherstreams on some floating islands. The attacking side can obtain artifacts from them, which deal great damage to Zaax.
The defending structures will be built in the main battle area, Violet Cloud Palace.
The resource buildings for the defending side will be located in the Garden of Wonders.
7. The alliance leaders can help the war by purchasing war upgrades.
In the upgrade tree on the right-hand side, each button will summon an NPC that provides your side with the corresponding Buff. Before you click a button:
There will only be one NPC for each upgrade family, which will be the last summoned one.
All buffs will be permanent during the war, unless the player dies or logs off.
The central button: If the situation becomes critical, you might need a turn. Clicking this button will summon a powerful weapon: the attacking side will summon it in the Hallway of Deities, and the defending side will summon it in the Orient Palace.
The war upgrades apply only to the current territory war.
