Virtue Points

Follow these steps to check your multiple virtue status in Ether Saga Online:

Open the Character (C) section from the menu bar.

Click on Virtue, the top button.

Karma (0-100) - Gain 1 Karma point for every Praise or Admonish from other players. This slightly increases the success rate of Imbuing gears.

Reputation - Level 1: Novice; Level 2: Reliable Tutor; Level 3: Patient Teacher.

Buyer Credit - Earned by purchasing items from the Heaven Repository.

Charisma - Obtainable from Daily Quests and the Quiz Bowl Event (daily at 8:30 PM).

Culture - Obtainable from Daily Quests and the Quiz Bowl Event (daily at 8:30 PM).

Gaap Lands - This is the second type of reputation. There is only one way to gain such a reputation.

You give virtue items gained from killing monsters to the Gaap Lands Virtue Agent. Each virtue item you turn in earns you 5 to 15 Regional Virtue points.

When you've accumulated enough Regional Virtue points, you can trade them for various items at Wehn and at other NPCs located throughout Pokari.

Astral Virtue - It is no longer used on our server to enter Lost World; entry is now done using gold only, for greater convenience to players.

There are currently 88 diplomatic items in Ether Saga Online. They are obtained by defeating any monster in the game and can be exchanged with the NPC Pokari Virtue Agent.

You can get Bond reputation by completing Bulletin Board quests.

Each quest will specify a type of mob that you must kill.

Complete this task and you will be rewarded with an item and 1 Bond point of the opposite type (2 if that type you are killing is in Double EXP). Each type of mob has an opposite type that it is weak or strong against. Below are the types and their significant opposites:

Completing a Scalen type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with an Aerax Bond.

Completing an Aerax type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Vena Bond.

Completing a Vena type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with an Elementa Bond.

Completing an Elementa type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Mechen Bond.

Completing a Mechen type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Scalen Bond.

Completing a Haunten type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Humanoid Bond.

Completing a Humanoid type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Beastkin Bond.

Completing a Beastkin type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Widux Bond.

Completing a Widux type Bulletin Board quest will reward you with a Haunten Bond.

Bond Points can be exchanged for transformation cards with the NPC Transformation Card Trader (Pokari City 111, 247, 40).

Reputation Level System:

Novice : 0-4449 reputation points

Reliable Tutor : 4450-9796 reputation points

Patient Teacher : 9797-22041 reputation points

There are quests that give you Reputation. You need a certain amount of reputation points to access special quests.

There are TWO ways to gain reputation: (via the Reputation bar, under the Karma bar in the Virtue page — not the reputation gained by turning in diplomatic items — or by completing quests)

1. Quests that give reputation as a reward.

2. Help a Novice level up.

Three main conditions:

First, you must reach "Reliable Tutor." Check your Reputation Bar (you should become a Reliable Tutor around level 62 after completing all training quests that give Reputation).

Second, you must be in a party with a Novice (described in the previous section: "Special").

Third, you must be the party leader.

Finally, help the Novice level up. The Novice can level up in any way: quests (anyone), hunting, events, etc.

While you are the leader of a party, you will gain Reputation Points whenever any party member under level 40 gains a level. Total points earned as leader when a party member goes from level 1 to 40 = 2450 Reputation Points.
