Ranger

A bow-wielding hunter who can ensnare foes with precision traps
and rain arrows upon their prey from afar.

The Ranger may advance to become a Marksman or a Seeker.

Rangers are long-range attackers capable of disabling enemies with powerful status effects such as Slow, Ensnare, and Sleep. They wear medium armor and excel at controlling the battlefield with their bow and keen instincts.

Rangers are the vigilant protectors of nature. Guided by their harmony with the land, they use their unmatched accuracy to deliver justice upon those who violate nature’s law. Drawing strength from the earth itself, skilled Rangers master the elements and believe their archery is blessed by Houyi—the legendary archer who struck down the eight blazing suns. In pursuit of his divine precision, Rangers train relentlessly, balancing patience, awareness, and deadly aim. They are also skilled beast tamers, forming unbreakable bonds with their animal companions.

Rangers combine precision, agility, and elemental mastery. They are exceptional pet tamers, and their ranged combat can be enhanced through Widu and Unda affinities. With multiple viable builds, the Ranger class offers one of the most versatile and customizable playstyles available.

Class Change Details

You can begin the class change quest around level 60, but you must reach level 75 to complete it.

Step-by-Step Class Change Guide (Created by players, for players):

  1. Accept the quest from Ziola in Pokari and teleport to Gallio.
  2. Speak with the Lord of the Well beneath Gallio.
  3. Fly to Argrum Lake to complete the first task (autoroute available in quest description), then return to the Lord of the Well.
  4. Answer his questions correctly: Five, One Tall, Four Short.
  5. Defeat 300 Toadsy Crimsonskins, 900 Camtavian Smokeshells, and 1500 Clawpus Cobraheads.
  6. Catch a sheep near Magpies House outside Pokari. (Use the map to locate them — there are many in the area.)
  7. Return to Gallio and speak with the Lord of the Well again.
  8. Obtain a Magical Feather by defeating Portly Snowhawks.
  9. Talk to Ziola and teleport to Hoie.
  10. Defeat Katsune Kids and complete the quest five times.
  11. Visit Hoie once more, then head to Dracocide Peak and slay 50 Katsune Kids.
  12. Turn in the quest — and your class change is complete!

Tips and Information:

  • The class change quest appears in dark green and can be found under Ethyr Quests. Check your Available Quest window (Ctrl+Q).
  • Upon completion, you will receive your level 75 armor and weapon set.
  • Later, you can change your subclass using a Cash Shop item called the Topaz Disk. Visit the Reincarnation NPC in Gallio to perform the change.
  • Warning: Changing your class without a Topaz Disk will cause you to lose all Spirit used on skills.

    • Subclass: Marksman

    Marksmen specialize in precision and sustained damage. Their arrows are often laced with deadly poison and enhanced by Widu magic, striking with unwavering accuracy. Though their initial attacks may seem modest, their continuous damage ensures that enemies fall before they can close the distance.

    Subclass: Seeker

    Seekers are the snipers of Ether Saga, masters of long-range elimination. They excel at striking targets from extreme distances, often taking down airborne foes before they can retaliate. Resistant to numerous debuffs, Seekers are highly effective in large-scale PvP and aerial combat, turning the skies into their hunting ground.
